Privacy Policy

The short version: your audio files are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to us or anyone else.

Your audio

When you open a file, it is read and processed entirely inside your web browser. We do not receive, store, analyse or have access to your audio, your edits or your exported files.

What is stored on your device

To make the tool convenient, your browser stores some data locally. It stays on your device and is never sent to us:

Your most recent song and its edit (in IndexedDB), so a refresh doesn’t lose your work. Files over 300 MB are not stored.
Presets you save, your last settings and your download preferences (in localStorage).

You can remove all of it at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings.

Network requests

The website itself (pages, scripts, fonts) is served from our hosting provider, Cloudflare. Like any web server, it processes your IP address and browser information to deliver pages and protect against abuse.
The universal decoder. If you open a rare format (for example WMA or AIFF), the browser downloads the open-source FFmpeg WebAssembly program from the jsDelivr CDN. Only the program is downloaded; your file is not sent.
Analytics. We use Numative, a privacy-friendly analytics service, to count page views and measure page speed. It does not use cookies, does not track you across sites and does not collect personal data. It never sees your audio.

Cookies

We do not set cookies. If this ever changes (for example if accounts are introduced), this page will be updated first.

Children

The site does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
